Public transport

A very comfortable way of travelling in Gothenburg is by the use of trams and buses. Trams are a well-known part of Gothenburg’s urban scene. Taking the tram is a convenient and pleasant way of getting around. And it’s environmentally friendly. If you arrive at the Central Station we recommend taking a number 2 or 4 tram from Drottningtorget. It is also possible to take the number 5 tram from Brunnsparken. The tram stops at Korsvägen opposite the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and Gothia Towers.

If you arrive at the Landvetter Airport you can take the airport bus that stops at Korsvägen opposite the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre. If you arrive at the Gothenburg City Airport a cab should be taken.

On arriving in Gothenburg (e. g. with the daily ferries to Gothenburg from Denmark, Germany, and Poland), please turn off at the “Mässan Scandinavium Liseberg” sign. You can park in the multi-storey car park at Focus shopping centre, next to the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre. There is a foot bridge from here to the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre.
